Joost Derwig

Joost Derwig is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist at Radboudumc since December 2020, where responsibilities include shaping medical psychological treatment for gender issues. From May 2014 to April 2023, Joost served as the chair of the PAZ section of the Netherlands Institute of Psychologists (NIP), transitioning leadership to Dr. Jeannet Dijkstra. Previously, management of the Medical Psychology department occurred at Rijnstate Hospital from October 2007 to October 2022, focusing on long-term strategies and clinical care. Prior experience includes serving as a clinical psychologist at GGNet from January 2001 to October 2007. Joost holds a master's degree in psychology from Radboud University, completed in August 1996.
