Marcel Wiegman

Marcel Wiegman serves as the Deputy Director of Radboud Translational Medicine B.V. and Radiation Protection Supervisor at Radboud University/Radboudumc since December 2013. With prior experience as a Radiation Protection Expert at Radboud University Nijmegen from September 2012 to December 2013 and extensive tenure at VU Medical Center from October 1999 to September 2012, where roles included Radiation Safety Expert and Head of the Radiation Protection Group, Marcel has managed Radiation Protection Officers, conducted complex risk analyses, and developed training materials. Marcel holds a Master of Science in Business Administration and Management from Radboud University and has completed various certifications in radiation protection and safety management from institutions including Virginia Tech and LUMC Boerhave/TU Delft.
