Paul Span has an extensive academic and research background in the field of oncology and endocrinology. Currently serving as a Principal Investigator on "Radioresistance" and an Associate Professor focusing on "Molecular Prognostic and Predictive Factors in Solid Tumors" at Radboudumc since March 2000, Paul Span also holds the position of Deputy Head of the Breast Group at the Radboud University Centre for Oncology. Previous roles include Chair of the Pathobiology Group (PBG) of the EORTC from September 2017 to September 2020 and post-doctoral work at Radboudumc within the departments of Chemical Endocrinology, Endocrinology, and Experimental Urology between 1996 and 2000. An alumnus of Radboud University with a PhD in Endocrinology, Paul Span also holds a MSc in Biology from Utrecht University.
