Richard Dirven

Richard Dirven is an otolaryngologist and head and neck surgeon specializing in facial plastic reconstructive surgery at Radboudumc, where they have worked since 2013. With a strong background in health informatics, medical devices, and otolaryngology, Richard holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) focused on hands-free speech in laryngectomized patients. They have also served as a fellow in head and neck surgery at Chris O'Brien Lifehouse and contributed to research at various esteemed institutions, including the Sydney Cancer Centre and Liverpool Hospital. Richard completed their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) and PhD at Radboud Universiteit Nijmegen.
