Robert Koning has extensive experience in corporate governance and legal affairs, currently serving as Secretaris Raad van Bestuur en Raad van Toezicht at Radboudumc since November 2011. Previously, Robert held various leadership roles at FrieslandCampina, including Voorzitter bestuur Stichting Toezicht Ledenobligaties-vrij from January 2014 to January 2024 and Director Corporate Legal Affairs/Company Secretary from January 2009 to April 2011. Additional experience includes positions as Director Corporate Affairs at Royal Friesland Foods and (Deputy) Company Secretary at Eureko/Achmea, as well as a legal career at De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek. Robert has pursued advanced education at TIAS School for Business and Society, Avicenna Academie voor Leiderschap, and Hult Ashridge Executive Education, alongside military training as a first lieutenant. Robert earned a Master of Law from Leiden University.
