Simone Dusseljee

Project Manager

Simone Dusseljee has extensive experience in scientific research and project management within the field of biotechnology and health. Beginning as a research technician at Leiden University and later at NKI, Simone focused on the regulation of keratinocytes and the presentation of melanoma-specific antigens. From December 1999 to September 2003, Simone served as a senior assistant researcher at Numico Research, contributing to the development of biotechnological testing systems for nutritional therapy. Following this, from September 2003 to May 2010, Simone held the position of coordinating research technician at UMC St Radboud, where responsibilities included scientific research, project management, and quality assurance. Since May 2010, Simone has been a project manager at Radboudumc Nijmegen, overseeing initiatives aimed at combating vision loss through optimal treatment matching for inherited retinal diseases and macular degeneration, supported by a 10-year Gravitation Grant. Education was completed at Hanzehogeschool Groningen between 1987 and 1991.
