Tom Jacobs

Postdoctoral Researcher

Tom Jacobs is a seasoned professional in the field of pharmacy and pharmacology, currently serving as a hospital pharmacy resident at both St. Antonius Ziekenhuis and Tergooi MC since January 2024. With substantial experience as a postdoctoral researcher at Radboudumc since March 2019, Tom leads multicentre pharmacokinetic studies in sub-Saharan Africa focusing on anti(retro)viral medications for children. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Pharmacology from Radboud University, a Master’s Degree in Pharmacy, and a Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy, all complemented by a postdoctoral curriculum in Maternal and Child Health at TULIPS Child Health. Prior roles include positions as a Policy Officer at the WHO Collaborating Center for Pharmaceutical Policy and Regulation and a Project Officer at the Utrecht Centre for Affordable Biotherapeutics, among others, showcasing a strong commitment to global health and pharmaceutical policy.
