Anna Vikgren is a licensed psychologist and psychotherapist currently specializing in psychological treatment at Rädda Barnen / Save the Children Sweden since 2018. Previously, Anna worked as a psychologist at Sahlgrenska University Hospital, focusing on children, adolescents, and families, employing techniques such as trauma-focused CBT and engaging in research concerning children exposed to domestic violence. Additionally, Anna served on an expert assignment with Socialstyrelsen in 2015, creating scripts for a virtual program designed to train discussions about violence. Anna obtained a psychology degree from Göteborgs universitet and completed a psychotherapy program focused on children and adolescents at the same institution, along with studies in Gender Studies at Karlstad University.
