Rob van Oirschot is an experienced software designer and engineer with a strong background in robotics and mentoring. Currently volunteering with FTC Benelux since May 2023, Rob previously volunteered with FTC Netherlands from October 2018 to April 2023. Rob has been a software engineer for Rademaker BV since May 2019 and has also worked as a contractor via InsterStep. As a mentor with Team Rembrandts since September 2014, Rob provides guidance to new team members while focusing on public relations, media, and branding. Earlier experience includes various roles at Backsaver, Frencken Europe B.V., InterStep, Fontys University of Applied Sciences, and VDL Enabling Technologies Group. Rob holds a bachelor's degree in Mechatronics from Fontys University, complemented by foundational technical education in mechatronics and robotics.
