Daniel O'Brien

Daniel O'Brien is a Medical Physicist with a PhD from University College Dublin, where they conducted extensive research on radiation dosimetry and adaptive radiotherapy techniques. Their professional experience includes a postdoctoral role at MD Anderson Cancer Center, focusing on radiation dosimetry in magnetic fields, and serving in various capacities at Elekta, where they currently hold the position of Technical Lead in Dose Calculation. O'Brien has also contributed to academia as an undergraduate laboratory demonstrator and has held leadership roles during their studies, enhancing communication and quality within the School of Physics. Currently, they continue their work at Radformation.
