Phil Chlap is a Machine Learning Engineer at Radformation since January 2024. Prior to this role, Phil served as a Senior Software Engineer/Computer Scientist at the Ingham Institute for Applied Medical Research from August 2017 to October 2023, and also held positions as a Software Engineer/Computer Scientist there. Phil's career began at Albert Ludwig Universitaet in Freiburg where research in 3D Biological Image Analysis was conducted as a Research Assistant from September 2008 to January 2012, followed by a role as a Graduate Developer at KAZ Group, focusing on software product support and web development from February 2007 to March 2008. Phil is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD at UNSW, expected to complete in December 2025, following a Master of Science in Computer Science from The University of Freiburg and a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering from the University of Canberra.
