Mark Wai

Mark Wai serves as the Executive Vice-President and Group Chief Technology Officer at Radian Group since 2016, while also partnering at Boreal Consulting Group since 2005, providing senior advisory services in the financial and insurance sectors, focusing on M&A and IT transformation. Previously, Mark held the position of Vice-President of Architecture, Digital, and Enterprise Information Management at Aviva Canada from 2010 to 2015 and served as Chief Architect at GEICO from 1996 to 2005. Mark also co-founded a boutique IT consulting firm, FSA, Compumatics (US), which operated in Washington DC from 1994 to 2005. Mark's educational background includes studies at the University of Oxford, a BCS in Computer Science from Carleton University, and an MBA from both Stanford University Graduate School of Business and Ivey Business School at the University of Western Ontario.
