Daniel Ege

Daniel Ege has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Daniel is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Radiant Security since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at WeWork from 2019 to 2021, where they held the positions of Engineering Manager (Remote) and Senior Software Engineer. At WeWork, they managed a tools team focused on access management and infrastructure, and also contributed to product management, engineering architectural designs, and mentoring a distributed team of engineers.

Before WeWork, Daniel worked at Knewton in 2018 as a Senior Software Engineer, where they worked on various front-end and back-end systems supporting the Alta product. Daniel also has experience with full-stack development, responsive design sites, and web APIs, having worked at XO Group Inc. as a Lead Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer from 2014 to 2018.

Daniel also has experience in the e-commerce industry, having worked as a Senior Software Engineer at vente-privee USA from 2012 to 2014. Daniel was responsible for rolling out revamped order history features and developing the vente-privee Android App.

Additionally, Daniel has experience in volunteer work, as they volunteered in West Africa with Hope Medical Mission in 2011, assisting in the establishment and maintenance of educational institutions.

Earlier in their career, Daniel worked as a Software Engineer at Cisco Systems, Inc. from 2008 to 2011, developing software for Linux-based OS in a multi-core environment. Daniel also worked as an Intern at Exxon Mobil in 2007, where they constructed a knowledgebase website and standardized multiple data sources. Daniel also had internships at Schlumberger (SIS) and Symtx Software Co-op, where they gained experience in web development, custom forms creation, and software testing.
