River Bennett has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries and roles. They started their career as an apprentice at Andrew Bennett Construction from January 2004 to August 2010. After that, River worked as a Development Intern at charity: water in June 2011. In 2014, they joined Quality English as an SAT and STEM tutor until December 2018. From October 2015 to April 2017, River served as the Operations Manager at United Mint Campus. In 2019, River held multiple roles, including Fellow, Nuclear Policy Analyst, and Intern, at Nuclear Innovation Alliance. They also worked as an Organizer at the Nuclear Innovation Bootcamp. In 2020, River became a Strategy Consultant at Steward. Most recently, starting from March 2023, River began working as a Nuclear Engineer at Radiant.
River Bennett obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) with Distinction in Political and Social Thought from the University of Virginia. They also attended Nantucket High School but did not receive a degree or specify a field of study. Recently, in 2021 to 2022, River pursued a Master of Science in Nuclear Engineering at the University of Michigan. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from Lifehack Bootcamp in 2016, including Lifehack Bootcamp 102 and Lifehack Bootcamp for United Mint Campus.
