Gerik Peterson has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Gerik is currently working as a Head of Engineering at Radically Digital, where they provide technical and managerial leadership in developing full stack engineering solutions. Early in their career, Gerik worked as a Broker's Assistant at Presidential Brokerage and as a Shop Leader at JW Hodson Co, where they supervised teams, worked as a liaison between departments, and made innovative product developments possible.

Throughout their career, Gerik has gained expertise in various software and technology stacks, including GCP Cloud Compute, BigQuery, Cloud Functions, Kafka, AWS, EC2, ECR, CircleCI, GitHub Pipelines, TypeScript, Scala, Django, Flask, Strapi, React, GraphQL, DataDog, Docker, and Kubernetes. Gerik has also demonstrated proficiency in VBA, SQL, Access, Excel, SAS, and HTML.

Gerik Peterson has a diverse educational background in computer science and international studies focused on economics. Gerik obtained an MSc in Computer Science from the University of Birmingham in 2008-2009. Prior to that, they completed a BA in International Studies, with a specialization in Economics, at UC San Diego from 2003 to 2005. Gerik began their higher education journey at Las Positas Community College, where they earned an Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts, majoring in Computer Science, between 2001 and 2003. In addition to their formal education, Gerik Peterson has also obtained the Professional Scrum Master (PSM I) certification from Scrum.org in May 2014.
