Dr. Splinter was the founding President of Radient. He is experienced in strategic planning, technical assessment and development of process technologies, business leadership, and engineering project management. Prior to founding Radient, Dr. Splinter served as Director of Chemical & Environmental Processes at BC Research, where he built and managed a team of scientists, engineers and technologists providing contract R&D services to various clients in the area of chemical and biochemical process development.
Dr. Splinter is an expert in interfacial phenomena, having earned a Ph.D. in Engineering Science in 1994. He has authored or co-authored numerous scientific publications and patents and has been invited as a speaker at international science conferences. In 2003, Dr. Splinter was awarded a prestigious 5NR Science Award for Leadership in Sustainable Development for his work in advancing MAP.
