Steve Heiskell has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as Lead Design Engineer at BP Amoco from 1991 to 1994. Steve then worked as Manager of Corporate Development at Enron from 1996 to 2000. Following that, they joined Simpata as Vice President of Business Development from 2000 to 2003, where they played a key role in raising venture funding and facilitated the company's sale to a strategic buyer. Steve Heiskell then joined Radius Recycling and held various senior leadership positions. Steve served as the Chief Development Officer of the Auto Parts Business from 2004 to 2014, overseeing M&A and integration activity. In 2015, they became the Senior Vice President and Managing Director of the Auto Parts Business, responsible for growing the division organically and through acquisitions. In the same year, they were promoted to Senior Vice President and Co-President of the Auto and Metals Recycling Division, where they integrated the two largest divisions, improved safety, executed productivity improvements, launched new service offerings, and significantly increased revenues and operating income.

Steve Heiskell completed their Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology in 1991. Steve then went on to pursue an MBA in Finance from Indiana University Bloomington, which they completed in 1996.
