Jason Thacker

Jason Thacker has extensive experience in various leadership roles in the technology industry. Jason is currently the Chief Information Officer at Radix IoT, where they are responsible for IT governance, business continuity, and program delivery. Prior to this role, they served as the EVP of Strategy and Vice President of Engineering at Radix IoT, overseeing product development and guiding software development lifecycle enhancements.

Before joining Radix IoT, Thacker worked as the Director of IT Programs and Project Management at the Tennessee Department of Education. Jason also served as the Director of Software Development at www.bitboxusa.com, where they were responsible for the strategic and tactical delivery of a distributed services architecture SAAS based solution.

Thacker has a strong background in strategic planning and business systems management. Jason worked as the Director of Business Systems and Director of Ecommerce Systems at Kirkland's, where they developed multi-year roadmaps and collaborated on technical projects and continuous improvements.

Prior to that, Thacker held the role of Ecommerce IT Manager at Tractor Supply Company, managing IBM's Websphere Commerce platform and leading the development of the company's IT plan.

Thacker's earlier experience includes working as a Senior Learning Designer at Delta Air Lines, where they leveraged technology to deliver instructional goals and content for the Flight Operations Group. Jason also worked as a Senior Account Manager and Senior Project Manager at echoEleven, where they focused on SaaS business development and project management for elearning products.

Thacker began their career as a Project Manager at G2 IT Services, supporting the implementation and design of several PMOs and leading the administration portfolio. Jason also worked at Genuine Parts Company as a HFE/User Centered Designer and eLearning Product Lead, delivering functional user interfaces and leading the training strategy for new applications.

Thacker's early career experience includes working as a Multimedia & UI Design Manager at ultigo, where they supervised a design team and led the design of various digital marketing and educational content.

Overall, Thacker has a strong background in technology leadership, strategic planning, and project management, with experience in industries such as IoT, education, retail, and aviation.

Jason Thacker obtained a Bachelor's of Science Infomration Systems degree from Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) from 2018 to 2023. Prior to that, they earned an AS degree in Web/Multimedia Management and Webmaster from The Art Institutes between 1997 and 1999. In 1989, Jason completed their high school education and received a High School Diploma from Northside High School.
