Paul Schaefer

Paul Schaefer is a physician with extensive experience in radiology and healthcare leadership. Currently serving on the Advisory Board of ProAssurance since September 2014, Paul has been a physician at Radnet since 1990 and the President and Managing Partner of Community Radiology Associates since 1987, overseeing a team of 19 radiologists across 18 offices in suburban Maryland. Previously, Paul held significant roles including Chairman of the Department of Radiology at Montgomery General Hospital and Treasurer of its Foundation Board. Paul’s early career includes serving as a physician at Walter Reed Army Medical Center from 1979 to 1990. Paul earned an MD from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and a BS in Chemistry from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
