Robert Schier

Radiologist

Robert Schier is a highly experienced radiologist with a career spanning several decades. Since 2007, Robert has served as Medical Director in Breast Imaging and Neuroradiology at Radnet. Prior to this role, Robert worked as a Project Specialist at The Pilot Group from 2002 to 2004, focusing on the development of an image interpretation system for detecting and classifying calcifications on mammograms in collaboration with Artificial Life Technologies, where Robert was a founder from 1998 to 2004, leading efforts to create a neural network architecture for image interpretation using genetic algorithms. Robert's educational background includes a Doctor of Medicine degree from UCI Medical School, a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Stanford University, and board certification in radiology following training at Los Angeles County - U.S.C. Medical Center and the V.A. Medical Center Wadsworth.
