Amit Shar

Amit Shar has extensive experience in software development and team leadership, currently serving as the Threat Prevention Team Leader at Check Point Software Technologies since November 2014. Previously, Amit has held the position of Software Team Leader at Radware since April 2009, focusing on building and managing engineering teams, coordinating product life cycles, and developing virtualized ADC solutions in Linux environments. Earlier roles include Sr. Software Engineer at Cisco Systems Inc., where Amit developed security modules for Cisco's Catalyst 6500 and mentored junior engineers, as well as Software Engineer at Riverhead Networks, specializing in Linux-based network security products. Amit also has experience as a C/C++ lecturer and as a software developer at FTS, where contributions included multi-threaded IVR client design and client-server billing applications. Amit holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science from The Academic College of Tel-Aviv, Yaffo.
