John Bateman

John Bateman has a diverse range of work experience spanning over several decades. John currently holds the role of Vice President of Systems Engineering, Asia Pacific & Japan at Radware, a position they started in September 2020. Prior to this, John worked at Cisco where they held multiple roles, including Service Delivery Executive and Director of Digital Network Architecture & Mobility Practice. John was also a Lieutenant Commander and Network Manager in the Royal Australian Navy. Throughout their career, John has been responsible for project delivery, developing new capabilities, and driving efficiency in various networking and service provider environments. John has a strong track record of exceeding targets and achieving significant growth in the markets they have worked in.

John Bateman obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from UNSW in the years 1986 to 1989. John later pursued a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering (Data Networking) and Computer Science at the same institution, completing it from 1993 to 1995.
