Stephen Agius is an accomplished DevOps Engineer currently with Raft since July 2024, following a four-year tenure at Matillion where roles included Cyber Security Engineer and Cloud Infrastructure Engineer. With a strong foundation in cloud security, site reliability, and infrastructure engineering, Stephen has extensive experience leveraging tools like Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, and GCP. Previous roles involved significant collaboration with security and infrastructure departments to develop secure and efficient systems. Stephen's academic background includes a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science with Cyber Security from the University of Salford, supplemented by experience as a Teaching Assistant and various leadership roles within the university community. Prior to specialized roles in technology, Stephen honed team-building and process improvement skills over multiple positions in the manufacturing and engineering sectors.
Raft
Raft's solution will use artificial intelligence to understand, triage and act on incoming shipment data, saving HBI’s operators countless hours chasing information, manually keying into systems and reconciling against downstream systems. The platform’s real-time, continuous processing will enable HBI operators to handle shipments more quicklyand with more certainty for their customers.Raft was established in October 2017 by James Coombes and Nisarg Mehta in England, United Kingdom.
