Daniel Morrison

Daniel Morrison has a diverse range of work experience spanning various roles in the technology field. Daniel is currently working as a Lead DevSecOps Engineer at raft, where they lead a team in making decisions about CI/CD architecture and implementation for secure systems. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior DevSecOps Engineer at raft and as a DevOps Engineer at BoxBoat Technologies, where they designed and developed cloud infrastructure solutions and provided Kubernetes training to clients.

Before joining raft and BoxBoat Technologies, Daniel served as a Senior System Engineer at BBVA in the USA, where they led the development of a custom library for automating the CI/CD process and collaborated with teams to demonstrate its implementation. Daniel also held the position of DevOps Architect at BBVA in the USA, where they developed and maintained an internal QA Automation framework. Additionally, they worked as a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer at BBVA in the USA, designing the QA Automated Test Suite for the Fraud Detection Engine API.

Daniel's earlier experience includes roles at CPSI, where they worked as an Associate Software Engineer and a Quality Assurance Analyst. In these positions, they developed and maintained Java applications, created distribution scripts for databases, developed testing scripts in Python, and performed unit tests.

Before entering the technology field, Daniel worked in customer service at Morrison Estate Sales. In this role, they used their personal knowledge to appraise and negotiate prices with customers, coordinated with employees to appraise estates, and handled the transport and assembly of furnishings.
