Jacob Tyo

Jacob Tyo is currently the Director of AI/ML at Raft, where they lead initiatives in artificial intelligence and machine learning. They earned a PhD in Machine Learning from Carnegie Mellon University and have extensive experience in the field, including a position as a Machine Learning Engineer/Scientist with the U.S. Army DEVCOM Army Research Laboratory. As an AI startup founder, Jacob launched Performance Photo, enhancing photo discovery for the off-road racing community through advanced technology. Previously, they held roles as a Graduate Research Assistant at NASA IV&V and in various engineering internships.
