Catherine Argue

Catherine Argue is an experienced professional in user experience design and mechanical engineering. Currently serving as an Experience Designer at RafterOne since December 2021, Catherine has previously mentored students as an Instructional Assistant in UX Design at General Assembly, where responsibilities included creating lesson plans and defining project scopes for client projects. A former UX Designer at Umwuga, Catherine significantly improved website usability and conducted research to understand user bases. Catherine's early career includes roles as a Research Development Mechanical Engineer and Mechanical Engineering Intern at LDI Medical, where skills in iterative design processes, material selection, and CAD modeling were developed. Catherine holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New Hampshire and a User Experience Design certificate from General Assembly.
