Cathal is the Managing Director and founder of Raglan Capital, which he established in 2007. In its early days, Raglan provided corporate finance and investment banking services to a range of Irish and international companies. However, for the last number of years, Raglan has been solely focused upon creating its own companies in-house that can be rapidly listed on the London Stock Exchange. 

With offices in Dublin, London and Vienna, Raglan has a proven track record of delivering exceptional results and value for shareholders, Raglan aims to complete an IPO within three years of creating a company. This enables these companies to effectively prepare for the next stage of growth and reach their full potential.

Raglan’s experience and engrained knowledge spans various sectors, including pharma and natural resources, and are supported by an extensive network of international relationships both in Europe and North America.
Raglan's most recent venture is European Green Transition plc, which listed on AIM in April 2024 and is focused on acquiring, integrating and optimising revenue-generating and profitable services businesses in the critical infrastructure sector. 

Raglan successfully formed Poolbeg Pharma plc, a biopharmaceutical company committed with a core focus on transforming the cancer immunotherapy field, which listed on the London Stock Exchange in 2021. 

Raglan co-founded Open Orphan plc (now trading as hVIVO plc) in 2017, which listed on the London Stock Exchange in 2019 and is the world leader in human challenge clinical trials.  Raglan also co-founded Amryt Pharma Plc in 2015, which listed on the London Stock Exchange and Nasdaq, and in April 2023, it was sold to Chiesi Farmaceutici for $1.48bn.
