Bart Gilissen

Bart Gilissen has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Bart started their career in 2008 as an Area Manager at Sovereign Speed GmbH and later held the positions of Manager Service Excellence, Process and Compliance, Branch Manager Amsterdam, and Software Development Manager. During their time at Sovereign Speed GmbH, Bart was also responsible for international change management, including developing new strategies and processes, drafting service level agreements, and implementing an Online Track&Trace system.

In 2017, Bart joined TX Logistik AG as a Project Manager for Business Systems Rail and later became the Team Leader for Resource Planning. Bart successfully led projects and managed resources to ensure the smooth operation of business systems.

In 2020, Bart joined Rail-Flow as a Product Owner, where they handled the Purchase- & Tender Management and acted as a Proxy Product Owner for the Tender Module.

Before Rail-Flow, Bart worked at Scheidt & Bachmann in 2022, where they served as a Product Owner for a brief period.

Bart took two sabbaticals throughout their career, the first from January 2022 to May 2022, and the second from October 2022 to May 2023.

Most recently, Bart joined Rail-Flow in June 2023 as a Sales Engineer.

Bart Gilissen obtained their Abitur degree in Betriebswirtschaftslehre from the University of Cologne, where they studied from 1994 to 1998.
