Paul Clegg

Paul Clegg's work experience begins in 2009 with HMV Retail Ltd, where they worked as a Gamerbase Inside HMV. In this role, they organized and hosted in-store gaming tournaments, maintained high-spec gaming equipment, and configured and maintained self-hosted game servers.

In 2011, Paul joined Textmimedia as a Development Lead. Here, they worked on various Zend and Magento projects and managed the development of a mobile app platform. Some main highlights of their role at Textmimedia included developing a content management platform for hybrid mobile iOS/Android apps and migrating the company hosting to UK based cloud services.

In 2012, Paul co-founded Gather Digital and served as its Technical Director. With Gather, they helped numerous businesses worldwide with their digital transformation projects, specializing in AR, PIM, e-commerce, and mobile apps. Paul ensured that their team had the necessary tools to build great software. Paul held this role until December 2020.

Since 2019, Paul Clegg has also been working as the Chief Technology Officer at Raildiary. No end date is provided for this role, indicating that they are currently employed in this position.

Paul Clegg completed their education at The University of Manchester. Paul first obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from 2006 to 2009. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Software Engineering from 2009 to 2010. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained two certifications. In June 2009, they became a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist, and in August 2010, they obtained a certification as a Junaio Certified AR Developer from Metaio.
