Robert Redd

Robert Redd has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Robert is currently employed at Railinc Corp. as an Application Security Engineer since April 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Railinc Corp. as a Sr Release Engineer from March 2019 to April 2021. From June 2008 to March 2019, they held the position of Release Engineer Admin at Railinc Corp., where they were responsible for various tasks such as writing ant scripts, converting source code management systems, and maintaining code review systems. Before that, they worked as a Business Analyst at Railinc Corp. from June 2003 to June 2008, where they focused on data analysis and managing requirements. Robert also served as an IT Team Leader at Railinc Corp. from June 2000 to June 2003.

Prior to joining Railinc Corp., Robert worked at IVIS International as a Sr. Systems Integrator from June 1998 to June 2000. In this role, they worked with a team of developers to integrate financial software and supported installations.

Before IVIS International, Robert worked at A4 Health Systems as a Java Development Team Lead from June 1996 to June 1998.

Their earlier experience includes working at Union Pacific Technologies as a Systems Engineer from June 1993 to June 1996, where they primarily worked with mainframe software development and later transitioned to designing a solution using PowerBuilder.

Robert started their career in the US Army, where they served as an Officer from June 1990 to February 1993.

Robert Redd attended the United States Military Academy at West Point from 1986 to 1990, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. In terms of certifications, they completed the Architecting on AWS program at Amazon Web Services (AWS) in December 2021, the Systems Operations on AWS program in January 2020, the Automation with Ansible I program at Red Hat in June 2019, and the Jenkins Engineer program through the Jenkins project in March 2016.
