James Readman

James Readman has over a decade of experience in finance, primarily at Railpen, where roles have included Senior Finance Manager - Financial Control, Scheme Accounts Manager, and Investment Accounts Manager. Responsibilities have encompassed leading a team in managing the in-house accounting of investment assets for the Railways Pension Scheme and overseeing accounting operations, including bank reconciliations and pension invoicing. James played a key role during significant transitions, particularly with the implementation of a new pension administration system. Prior experience includes a Finance Industrial Placement at BAE Systems. James holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Hull and recently completed the Chartered Management Accountant qualification through CIMA in July 2023.
