Stuart MacKintosh

Stuart Mackintosh is an experienced communications professional with a robust background in strategic oversight and engagement in the public and private sectors. Currently serving as the Programme Communications and Strategy Lead at Railpen since March 2022, Stuart directs customer communications for transformative projects aimed at securing pension scheme members' futures. Prior to this role, Stuart held various positions at RPMI from 2013 to 2022, ultimately as Head of Communications & Content, where Stuart bridged insights between the organization and its audiences to drive improvements and foster co-creation. Previous roles include positions at Redcar & Cleveland Borough Council as PR & Marketing Specialist, and as a Director at Stuart Mackintosh Media Ltd, showcasing expertise in media relations, crisis management, and content creation. Stuart's early career featured significant reporting roles at The Northern Echo and Ackrill Newspapers. Educationally, Stuart completed a program at Cranfield School of Management in 2017 and holds qualifications from Darlington College.
