Tim Elsberry

Tim Elsberry is currently the VP of Business Development at Railroad Software. Tim has over 40 years of experience in the railroad industry, having started their career as a track maintainer with CSX in 1978. Tim eventually rose through the ranks to become an Asst. Foreman and Track Inspector before leaving CSX in 1988 to join MARTA as their Director of Maintenance of Way. Tim spent the next 31 years with MARTA, helping to modernize and maintain one of the largest transit systems in the southeastern United States, before joining Railroad Software in 2019.

After completing high school, Tim attended Chattahoochee Technical College where they studied computer systems networking and telecommunications. Tim then went on to earn a certificate in asset management from The Institute of Asset Management.
