Michael Breuer

Michael Breuer has worked in the rail freight industry since 2001. Michael began their career as a Trainee at TX Logistik AG, followed by a Working Student role at Volkswagen Logistics GmbH in 2002. In 2004, they became an Assistant to the Managing Director at ATG AUTOTRANPORT LOGSISTC, where they were responsible for the procurement of 1,300 car transporters and the establishment of a fleet management system. In 2007, they moved to BLG AutoRail GmbH as Director of Administration and Technology (authorized officer). Here, they developed two new wagon types for special markets. In 2011, they became Managing Director at BLG RailTec GmbH. Finally, in 2015, they co-founded and became CEO of RailWatch GmbH, where they enabled predictive maintenance in rail freight and collected condition data on freight wagons.

Michael Breuer attended Bremerhaven University of Applied Sciences from 1998 to 2003, where they earned a Diploma in Industrial Engineering with a focus in Transport and Logistics. Prior to this, they attended Daufenbach Internationale Spedition GmbH & Co. KG from 1994 to 1997, where they earned a Forwarding Agent certification.
