Ivan Blanco

Ivan Blanco is a Senior Product Owner at Railz. Previously, they worked as a Senior Technical Product Manager at CoreLogic Intersect from November 2019 to January 2022. There, they delivered the OneHome web app + back-end API micro-services, and data pipeline infrastructure. OneHome is now used by more than 43 clients (MLS) and almost 3 million daily active users. Ivan was also responsible for planning and managing the CI/CD process and Automation testing of the app (UI and API). Furthermore, they were responsible for all development phases: Concept, Build, and Release. Ivan also implemented discovery and competitor analysis for future enhancements to be added in the roadmap.

Before working at CoreLogic Intersect, Ivan worked as a Product Owner at UNIVERIS from April 2017 to September 2019. There, they released the new generation of the Investor Portal web app, CONNECT, which is used by more than 70,000 users (B2C). Ivan also implemented CONNECT using an adaptive design that increments the access from mobile devices by 20%, more than its previous version. In addition, they released the brand new Investors API’s (B2B) product to allow third-party partners access to Investor’s services and data. Furthermore, they oversaw and coached 10+ people on Agile methodologies (Scrum) which increased productivity and efficiency. Their responsibilities also included creating the Investor Products Roadmap, managing the full lifecycle product management (from concept development to execution), identifying and proposing product improvements based on user research and data analysis (SQL and Google Analytics), writing Product Requirement Documents using Jira and Confluence, identifying and prioritizing the product backlog, and working in coordination with Stakeholders, UX, and the development team to execute, deliver and improve Investor’s products.

Ivan Blanco is a computer engineer with a master's degree from Universidad Rey Juan Carlos. Ivan also has a certification in financial accounting from LinkedIn and a certification in product management from Scrum.org.
