James Ong has a strong background in finance and strategy with extensive experience in the financial services sector. Currently serving in Finance Operations at Rain since March 2023, James previously worked at Stripe in a Finance & Strategy role from June 2021 to November 2022. Prior to that, James held various positions at Global X ETFs from July 2014 to May 2021, including VP, Director of Portfolio Management, and AVP, Portfolio Manager. James began the professional career as a Media & Telecom Investment Banking Analyst at Jefferies LLC from July 2012 to June 2014. James holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Harvard University, attended from 2008 to 2012, and graduated from New Trier High School in 2008.
