Smoos Peng

Smoos Peng 彭建賓 is an experienced professional in the RFID industry, currently serving as the APAC Director at Voyantic Ltd. since June 2014, where responsibilities include identifying sales opportunities and managing distributors across the Asia-Pacific region. Smoos also holds the position of Chair of the APAC Advisory Group at RAIN RFID Alliance since March 2021, focusing on enhancing the understanding and promotion of RAIN technology in the region. As the CEO of METAG Corporation since September 2008, Smoos aimed to address quality control and performance characterization issues faced by RFID manufacturers in Asia. Prior experience includes roles as Vice General Manager at SAG, where Smoos diversified product offerings and reformulated sales strategies, and as Founder of RFID SOURCES CORPORATION, which served the European and North American markets. Earlier career beginnings were marked as an engineer at SMOOS TOOL CO., LTD. Academic achievements include a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from The University of Auckland and a Diploma in Communication from Auckland University of Technology, along with a Diploma in Electronics Engineering from Chien Kuo Technology University.
