Bob Cleaves

Bob Cleaves is a seasoned software engineer specializing in Android development, currently serving as a Senior Android Developer at Rain Bird Corporation since March 2024. Prior to this, Bob held similar roles at Epitel, where Bob contributed to critical feature enhancements for medical devices, and at BitTorrent, Inc., where Bob was the sole developer for popular torrenting apps with over 1 million daily users. Bob's extensive experience includes leadership roles in developing communication and safety applications at HDWB, LLC, and principal development of the Flyp app, utilizing modern Android SDK features. Bob's career began in software engineering in the mid-1990s and includes positions at notable companies such as Iris Wireless and Veraz, LLC. Bob holds a Master’s degree in Aeronautical and Aerospace Engineering from the University of Washington and a Bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University.
