Joël Paynel is a Lead Product Designer and Design Ops professional with a background in visual and product design spanning multiple decades. Their design journey began in Paris, where they held positions as Art Director for notable brands before moving to the US to explore new opportunities. Joël has spent the last six years specializing in user experience and information architecture, working with global businesses and contributing to projects that emphasize user-centered design principles. Currently, they lead product design at Rain Bird Corporation, focusing on web-based platforms and mobile apps for water management solutions. Joël's education includes a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Académie Charpentier and ongoing studies in Drawing and Painting at Beaux-Arts Chartres Museum.
