Bernard Bell

Bernard Bell has a diverse range of work experience, spanning various industries and roles. Bernard is currently serving as the Executive Director of the UNC Shuford Program in Entrepreneurship, where they have played a vital role in growing the program to over 600 students and achieving national recognition. In addition to their work at UNC, Bell is the CEO of Urban Media Solutions, a consulting firm that focuses on advising start-ups and founders on raising capital, product launch, and digital transformation strategies, with a particular emphasis on the urban consumer. Bell also works with CEOs and Fortune 100 companies on communication strategies related to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). Furthermore, Bell has served as the Strategic Advisor and COO of RainbowMe, an entertainment platform that celebrates diversity. At the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, they held the position of the Richards Donohoe Social Entrepreneur in Residence and Professor of the Practice, where they taught entrepreneurship courses, mentored students, and played a strategic role in fostering social enterprises.
