Chan Kataria

Chan Kataria, OBE, is an experienced Non-Executive Director currently serving at the Regulator of Social Housing and as a Board Trustee with Rainbows Hospice. As the former CEO of emh group from 2004 to 2025, Chan successfully transformed the organization into a major housing provider, overseeing significant mergers and raising £350 million through bond finance. In addition, Chan has held various leadership and governance roles across multiple organizations, including Housemark and the Chartered Institute of Housing, where they serve as Vice-Chair and Chair of the Audit Committee. Chan earned a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Loughborough University and is pursuing an MBA at De Montfort University.
