Mark Strehlow

Mark Strehlow has a diverse work experience across various companies and roles. Mark is currently the Co-Founder and Chief Experience Officer at Rainfall, a privacy-preserving data intelligence platform. Prior to that, they worked as a Global Venture Partner at BootstrapLabs, where they provided mentoring and guidance to portfolio companies in the field of Applied Artificial Intelligence. Additionally, they were the Founder and Managing Partner at Msdo, a company that offered product innovation, strategy, UX/UI design, and branding services to early-stage and established companies. Mark has also held roles as a Mentor at Galvanize Inc, a VP of Design and Brand at Truvalue Labs (acquired by FactSet), an Advisor at ClearlyNext, and an Advisor at Flare.is. Furthermore, they co-founded and served as the Head of Product and Design at Buildmark, a location-based professional network and marketing platform. Earlier in their career, they were the Head of User Experience Design at Cisco - FlipVideo, where they led the user experience and product design for FlipShare, a video sharing and social networking platform. Mark Strehlow has also been involved in various mentoring roles at The Refiners and Galvanize Inc.

Mark Strehlow earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Berkeley in 1996. Mark'sfield of study was Structural Engineering, and they also pursued a minor in Architecture during their time at the university. Following this, from 1996 to 1998, Mark attended the Harvard University Graduate School of Design and completed a Master's degree in Design Studies. Mark'sspecialization during this program was in Interactive Media.
