Jonathan Barber

Jonathan Barber is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in software development and systems administration. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Rainforest QA since August 2015, Jonathan oversees three engineering teams and is responsible for setting the engineering strategy, delivering products, and collaborating with customers. Prior roles at Rainforest QA include Senior Engineering Manager and Engineering Manager, focusing on backend team leadership and project management. Jonathan has a strong background in high-performance computing, having managed Linux HPC clusters at the University of Porto, and has worked with various critical systems at Telbit. Jonathan holds a PhD in Bioinformatics from the University of Dundee and a BSc in Biotechnology from Imperial College London.
