Daniel Avery is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in venture building and innovation. Currently serving as the Head of Venture Building for Europe and Director of Climate & Nature at Rainmaking since January 2022, Daniel also holds a position as Lead Mentor at the Equinor & Techstars Energy Accelerator. Previously, Daniel contributed as a Startup Judge and Mentor at Tech Nation and was involved with National Grid Partners. Daniel co-founded Modo Future City Lab and ISLAND BEERS, and held various roles at Market Gravity, including Engagement Manager and Senior Innovation Consultant. Daniel's career began at Accenture as a Business Strategy Analyst. Daniel earned a 1st Class MEng degree in Biomechanical Engineering from Newcastle University and completed the International Baccalaureate at Oakham School.
