Eric Barreras

Eric Barreras is a seasoned professional in victim advocacy and military law enforcement, currently serving as the Vice President of the DOD Safe Helpline at RAINN. Eric's military career began in the mid-nineties with the U.S. Army, where they served as a Supervisory Special Agent with the Criminal Investigation Command, focusing on Special Victims Unit investigations. They have received numerous accolades, including the Bronze Star for service during combat operations in Iraq, and held various significant roles within the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Coast Guard, earning awards for innovation in sexual assault prevention and response efforts. Currently, Eric focuses on ensuring survivor-centered services through strategic program management at RAINN.
