We believe that any story, when told properly, can change the world. Rainshadow partners with individuals, communities and brands to bring stories to life through film and writing that inspire real, tangible change.

We respect the rights and sovereignty of all people regarding how their stories are told.

We put collaboration and friendship first, and only take on projects that we know will result in benefits for everyone involved.

We believe that inclusion and diversity makes us better at what we do and that the most effective teams are built with people from myriad backgrounds, beliefs, identities and experiences.

We know that we don’t know all the answers, and we strive to listen long before we begin to speak.

We are committed to ensuring that our projects leave our collaborators, their communities, and our planet better than how they were before we arrived.

We honour our teachers by nurturing new talent and providing opportunities and support to early-career storytellers, filmmakers and writers.

We take sustainability seriously, even when doing so is inconvenient.

We believe in full transparency and open communication across the board.
