Your friend is going through something horrible and you don’t know what to do.

A Rainy Day Box is a way to do something powerful.

The company is run by two sisters who found themselves on opposite sides of grief: Kate lost her husband in an accident at age 36; Jess wanted to do anything she could to ease her sister's pain but didn't know how ... until she came up with the idea of a Rainy Day Box.

Think of us as a memorable alternative to flowers, meals, and cards, and one that speaks to how long those challenging times tend to last. Each box is carefully curated to contain thoughtful and beautiful gifts that are individually packaged and meant to be opened over time. Inside each one is a message that acknowledges that day’s struggle. They are available for those experiencing grief, pregnancy loss/infertility, illness, or divorce, as well as for caregivers. Our boxes have been featured on Oprah Daily and in Yoga Journal.

We hear it repeatedly. "She told me the Rainy Day Box was the most thoughtful gift she has ever received."
