Raise Them Foundation is a youth-led nonprofit on a bold mission to unlock the potential of refugee youth through education, mentorship, and skills development. Founded in April 2024 by Rise Global Winner and Mastercard FAST Fund awardee Don Divin Niyukuri, currently a candidate for Psychology & Brain Science at George Washington University. Our Foundation bridges the gap between displaced students and life-changing opportunities.

What We Do
Scholarship Assistance & University Support: We connect qualified refugee scholars to scholarships, guide them through every step of their university applications, and ensure they arrive on campus ready to succeed.

Practical Skills Training: From artisan crafts to digital literacy, our vocational programs equip youth with the hands-on skills employers seek.

Personalized Mentorship: One-on-one mentor pairings give students the confidence, networks, and career guidance to forge resilient, purpose-driven futures.

Our Values
Empowerment • Inclusivity • Integrity • Innovation • Resilience

Why We Exist
As a fellow refugee, Don witnessed firsthand the barriers that stand between talented young people and higher education. Raise Them Foundation exists to tear down those walls—fueling ambition, celebrating potential, and forging new pathways to leadership.
