Raisonnances Humanistes is an independent Franco-Moroccan public policy platform. It designs and operates structured co-production processes between African and European institutions. Its founding conviction: the frameworks that govern Africa-Europe collaboration are designed in silos. Researchers, policymakers, and financing institutions operate on separate tracks, on separate continents, under separate mandates. The result is not a lack of collaboration. It is a lack of architecture. Raisonnances Humanistes builds the architecture. Each process forces the intersection between three ecosystems that cross without seeing each other: research and science, governance and public policy, financing and deployment. The method is permanent. The thematic content changes with each edition. The first edition, focused on health R&D, is currently in preparation with institutional partners across Africa and Europe. It targets the simultaneous negotiation of two continental frameworks before both lock in 2027. A formal announcement will follow in the coming weeks. The initiative is guided by a Strategic Advisory Consortium of nine senior leaders spanning research, finance, governance, and diplomacy. Founded by Amal Derqaoui. More to come.
