Daniel Bumann

Daniel Bumann is a designer focused on human-centered design, striving to create better, more inclusive everyday places and encounters. They are the co-founder of RaivioBumann (since 2016) and Parkly (since 2021), were a member of Placemaking Switzerland from 2023 to 2025, and are a member of the Chamber of Commerce Finland-Switzerland since 2021. They served as Event Coordinator at Design Festival Bern from 2022 to 2025 and previously worked as a Technischer Experte at Design Museum, Helsinki from 2012 to 2016. They earned a Master of Arts in scenic design from Universität für angewandte Kunst Wien (2004-2009), studied scenic design at Aalto University (2008-2009), and earned a degree in visual communication from HSLU Hochschule Luzern in 1998.
